Write for Production Slate's Webzine!

Production Slate is currently open to new contributing writers.

To apply, please send us a detailed proposal of your article, a brief paragraph on yourself, and a sample of your writing. You may also discuss such proposals with Production Slate's Chief Editor, Dean Gold, at a Production Slate meeting. The topic must be of relevance to the filmmaking community. We are especially interested in timely journalism. Some topics may include film festival coverage, Industry trends, LA hotspots, interviews with filmmakers, tutorials, how-to articles, guides for indy filmmaking, equipment reviews, color and feature pieces.

Production Slate is a volunteer community, thus there is no monetary compensation, only promotional opportunity for you. Writers with accepted submissions retain copyright of their articles. The writer grants Production Slate one-year exclusive licensing agreement to publish the article on its webzine at ProductionSlate.Net. The writer grants Production Slate an indefinite non-exclusive license to publish the article.

Though Production Slate is based in Hollywood, CA, we have a worldwide readership and are interested in writers both inside and outside of Hollywood.
